Just 90 minutes drive from Paphos you can ski between January and March!
Yes, it snows on the top peaks in the Troodos Mountains, the island's most colourful and magnificent park - the highest peak being Mount Olympus at 1952m. There are 10 ski runs and several cross-country trails available. Suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers.
Located at Sun Valley, are the slopes of Aphrodite and Hermes which have 4 runs, serviced by 2 Tbar lifts. Here you can hire equipment from one of the ski rental shops or watch others from the cafe.
On the North face of Mount Olympus, the slopes of Zeus and Hera offer 5 ski runs, serviced by 2 Tbar lifts. Here there are several restaurants and cafes for refreshments.
The lifts are open from 9.00am to 4.00pm all week. Half and full day passes are available at reasonable cost.
Ski school is available for 90 min lessons between 10.00am and 3.30pm.
