||When do I have to make my final payment?
||If you have only paid the 50% deposit for the holiday, you need to settle the remainder at least 6 weeks before your arrival date.
||Is this available and at what cost?
||There are units in the lounge and the bedroom. The cost of electricity is included in the price of your rental and we ask you to be thoughtful guests and not to leave the Air Conditioning on if you are not in the apartment. There is a remote control handset in the lounge and the bedrooms. Ceiling fans are also provided for your use and are extremely efficient.They have 3 settings, activated by the toggle hanging down from fan.
||How do I find the apartment?
||Directions to the apartment from the airport can be found on our website on the travel page. Once at block B, either climb the stairs and turn right or take the lift and turn left. The door to No: 304 is just in front of you.
||What time can I arrive?
||We ask that you arrive after 4.00pm to ensure that the apartment has been checked and cleaned prior to your arrival. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please telephone/email us. See also supermarkets re food and toiletries.
|Banks and Post Offices
||What time do they open?
||They are open from 8.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday and closed on Bank Holidays. The nearest Banks are in Kissonerga and Chlorakas.
||Do I have to bring my own sheets and towels?
||You can do either. A washing machine is provided for you to wash your clothes, towels and bedding if needed during your stay. Blankets and pillows are provided and Duvets are available December to February. Bedlinen and bathroom towels can be provided for your use at additional cost. Please bring your own Beach Towels.
||Children in cars?
||All children under 12 can sit in any seat in the car and must have appropriate seating and belting for their age.
||Do I have to have snow chains in the Troodos Mountains in winter?
||Please check with your Hire Company to see if these are needed/provided.
||What are the speed limits in Cyprus?
||Please pay attention to signs, in case of change. Unless otherwise marked: on main roads the maximum is 80kph, Motorway speeds have to be between 60kph and100kph and built up areas 50kph or 30kph.
||Where can I park?
||There are no allocated parking spaces and you can use any available space.
||Where can I hire a car?
||You can pre book a car before you go and collect it at the airport through one of the numerous websites offering carhire.
||What happens about cleaning?
||The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. We ask that, for stays of more than one week, you keep the apartment clean yourself during your stay. Cleaning materials are provided for your use and we ask that if you finish something, you replace it for future guests. If extraordinary cleaning is required, the cost will be deducted from your security deposit.
||How do I get the cooker and microwave to work?
||There are full instructions in a folder in the apartment about both.
||What time can I leave?
||We ask that you leave before 10.00am to allow the apartment to be checked and cleaned prior to the arrival of the next guest. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please telephone.
||What is the voltage in Cyprus?
||The electrical supply in Cyprus is 240V AC with 13amp 3 pin plugs, just like in the UK. The shaving point is 110v.
||Who do I contact?
||Please phone Anne Marie on mobile 00357 96 292021. This number is only to be used in emergencies, eg if medical assistance is required or if something major goes wrong with an appliance in the appartment. If they are called out and arrive to find it is not an emergency situation, they reserve the right to charge you a call out fee of 40 Euros.
||What is there in the apartment?
||There is a selection of DVDs, CDs along with a selection of books, games and puzzles for you to use.

||Do I need to take a hairdryer?
||There are hairdryers in each of the bedrooms for your use.
||Is this available and at what cost?
||The Air Conditioning units in the lounge and the bedroom can be used to heat the apartment. The cost of electricity is included in the price of your rental and we ask you to be thoughtful guests and not to leave the heating on high if you are not in the apartment.
||How is the water heated?
||This is heated by an immersion heater. There are 2 switches to operate it just outside the bathroom. The right hand switch is the main On/Off switch. The left hand switch is for the length of time you want to have hot water for. Both need to be used to give you hot water. First, turn the right hand switch on (a light will come on). Next press the ‘Boost’ button to select how long you would like hot water for: 15 mins, 30 mins or 60 mins. (A red light will come on to show the time selected.) Just wait about 5 minutes and then you will have hot water for the length of time requested.
||Do you have any information about Cyprus in the apartment?
||In the apartment there is a folder containing useful information on the apartment and Cyprus, together with a separate folder containing the instructions for the oven, microwave, DVD/CD player, etc.
||Do I need to bring an iron?
||No, an iron and ironing board are provided in the apartment for your use.
|Key To Apartment
||How do I get the key?
||Details regarding the collection of the key will be sent to you on receipt of the final balance. If you lose a key to the apartment, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of replacement and deduct this from your security deposit. Always check that you have the key with you prior to shutting the front door and have not left it in the lock on the inside as it deadlocks and you will not be able to enter without a key. Our Management Company will charge a call out fee 0f 40 Euros to get you back in.
||Where is the lift?
||The lift is directly opposite the parking, to the left of the staircase. You need to press floor 2 for the first floor!! (Cypriots call the ground floor, floor one).
||Where are the lights if I arrive in the dark?
|| Light switches are placed on the walls by the stairs and outside the door to the lift.
||where is the nearest Hospital?
||In the case of medical emergencies, the new Iasis Hospital in Paphos has an A&E dept and is approx 15 minutes away.
||How do I open the patio doors?
||Press down on the black button below the lock and slide door. As the sunlight is bright and the glass very clean, please take care not to walk into the patio doors or fly screens when they are shut as you may hurt yourself. Also take care when opening the front door if the patio doors are open as the draught may cause it to shut quickly.
||Where is the nearest petrol station?
||The nearest petrol station is in Paphos by the roundabout for the motorway.
||Where can I buy stamps?
||You can buy stamps in most shops and supermarkets.
||Where is the nearest Post Box?
||The nearest Post Box is in Tala Square.
||What English speaking radio stations are there?
||Rock FM is on 98.5MW.
||Where are the best restaurants?
||There are several to chose from. Artemis is the closest, just on the roundabout. Within Tala Square which is 500m from the apartment - Marios Pub/Cafe and Yiamas Bar for snacks & sandwiches; Voukari Tavern, Melitza Tavern, The Square Bistro and Vradis Tavern. Stamna Tavern is a little closer on the walk down to the Square. Casa Luna and Stephanies are at the bottom of the hill, approx 800m away from the apartment. there is Cliff Top Bar just 200m from the apartment on the road up to Kamares.
||Where do I put my rubbish?
||Rubbish should be placed in the wheelie bin by the parking for the apartments. Please would you ensure that you empty the bin on your last day and place it in here before you go.
||Where can I keep my passport and valuable items?
||There is a safe in one of the cupboards of the bedroom which can be locked with a key. Please ensure that any items you place in here are removed before you leave for home and that the key is replaced in the safe door.
||Where is the best place to get ski gear and passes?

||Which sunbeds do I use?
||You may use any sunbed by the pool which is not specifically marked for an apartment. In addition to these, we have provided four sunbeds your personal use. These are kept on the balcony. Please avoid sitting on the bed, sofa or chairs inside the apartment when you have suntan oil or lotion on.
||Where is the best/cheapest supermarket?
||There are 2 small supermarkets in Tala village, approx 500 metres from the apartment which probably sell everything that you will need. They are open daily from early am to late pm. However, as you might expect, it is more expensive than a large superstore. If hiring a car, we recommend that you buy your groceries on the way from the airport, either in Paphos or at the Pit Stop supermarket just outside Tala which is open until midnight most nights.
||How deep is the pool and is it heated?
||The pool is not heated but will be warm enough to swim in from April to late November. Brave swimmers have been known to swim in December and January. The pool is 1.1m ito 2.5m deep. The depths are not yet marked on the pool. We have asked for this to be done. Until it is, please be extra careful, especially with children and do not dive into the pool or run around the perimeter. There is no lifeguard on duty.
||What are the power switches in the kitchen?
||These are for the oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
||How can I arrange transfers to and from the Airport?
||There are numerous taxis at the airport you can hire. The normal cost is around 25 Euros to Paradise Gardens from Paphos Airport.
||Where is the nearest telephone box?
||This is by Casa Luna at the bottom of the hill.
||Can I put toilet paper down toilet
||It is best not to flush toilet paper or any other items down the toilet as the pipes are smaller than the UK and cannot cope with it. Please use the bags provided for sanitaryware and put them into the bin.
||Are there any toilets by the pool?
||Yes there are toilets on the far side of the pool, just down the steps and to the right, so you will not need to return to the apartment to go to the loo.
||Where is Tourist Office?
||The Tourist Office is at the end of Poseidonus Avenue in Paphos, on the main seafront road in Paphos. Open 8.15 to 14.15 and 16.00 to 18.30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Wednesday, 8.15 to 14.15, on Saturday, 8.15 to 13.15. It is closed on Sundays.
||How long does it take from Paphos airport to the apartment?
||Around 25 minutes drive by Taxi or Hire Car.
||Where can I arrange for day trips?
||You can either do this at the Tourist Information Office at the junction of Poseidonus Avenue and Iasonus Street or at the Kamares Clubhouse in Kamares Village. Coach and boat trips to historic sites and places of interest can be arranged. You can even get mini cruises to Egypt, Symi , Israel and Lebanon. There are some brochures in the apartment from trip organisers that other guests have used.
||How do I work the washing machine?
||Full instructions for the washing machine can be found in a folder in the apartment.
||Is the water safe to drink?
||The water is safe to drink but may have a different mineral content to which you are accustomed. The small level at the bottom of the taps unit in the kitchen dispenses drinking water as it comes directly from the mains. Bottled water is cheap and widely available. Please conserve water, especially in the summer months.
||How do I use the WiFi?
||PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE SWITCHES ON THE ROUTER!!!!!! If the Wifi needs rebooting, please just turn it off and on again at the wall plug/socket. The Wifi name and password will be sent to you with your arrival instructions.
